Boston College’s Capital Projects Management (CPM) worked with FOS of CannonDesign for design services associated with an infrastructure and finishes assessment of its Rubenstein and Ignacio Residence Halls at its Chestnut Hill Campus. The two 6-story structures were built in 1973 and are approximately 124,000 sf each. Because the buildings had to be removed from service to complete this work, FOS worked with the College to phase the work and maximize the off-line time for the completion of other infrastructure upgrades.

The team worked diligently to understand the status of the infrastructure so that a schedule and cost options for implementation could be developed.
