Component Level Condition Assessment

FOS of CannonDesign completed a comprehensive facility condition assessment at a component level within 204 city-owned facilities in downtown Sacramento, CA. The work was contracted to document existing conditions of a diverse type of structures ranging from police and fire department facilities, industrial facilities, water delivery and wastewater treatment facilities, libraries, museums, community centers, offices, animal shelters, retail and restaurants, golf courses, an amusement park, a zoo, an athletic complex and several parks. The deficiency-based assessment included visible structural elements, exterior and interior architectural, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology and telecommunications systems.

The City provided results from their self-assessment of mechanical and roofing systems, which was uploaded into FOScore®, analyzed, and included in final reporting and capital planning deliverables. FOS was awarded additional services adding to the scope of the assessment after proving our competency and expertise and delivering a product that exceeded client expectations.
