Realizing its existing athletic facility could not meet the expectations of its growing student population, Dickinson College in Carlisle PA brought in the FOS team to perform a facility condition assessment (FCA) of the building, which, after careful consideration, was deemed a candidate for divestment. Dickinson then developed an RFP for the design of a new, state-of-the-art athletic facility. CannonDesign was selected for the project and designed the Kline Center Addition — an incredible space for Dickinson’s athletics programs and all students.
After the original successful FCA and new construction at the Kline Center, Dickinson College asked the FOS team to conduct a campus-wide assessment. Our team produced a detailed and prioritized capital implementation plan enabling Dickinson to develop proactive and actionable short and long term plans for the future of the entire campus. Assessment results were used to determine the need to build new residence halls versus the continued allocation to the existing buildings.
