Celebrating 1 Year As Own LLC

After 10 years as a CannonDesign integrated service line, FOS is proudly celebrating 1 year as our own LLC and distinct brand! Check out this feature (below, page 49) in Buffalo Business First where they help us recognize this anniversary.
Facility Optimization Solutions was initially founded in 2009 by Joe Cassata, RA as an integrated service line within CannonDesign, a globally ranked architecture, engineering, and construction firm. In March 2020, they became their own LLC and launched a distinct branded entity -- FOS of CannonDesign. FOS is a multidisciplinary physical asset management, strategic planning, and custom software solutions practice that is ranked by World Architecture 100 as #1 worldwide for facility management services by an AE firm.
“We launched our own distinct branded entity in the hopes that our clients, partners, and the media would better understand who FOS is and how we can help clients be the best at what they do in their facilities under industry-wide and pervasive challenges,” said Joe Cassata, FOS Founder and President. “This past year was not how we planned to spend our first year as our own brand. Despite extreme challenges related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our team pulled together, supported each other, and delivered solutions to ensure our clients had the timely information they needed to make prudent and sometimes difficult choices regarding the health of their facilities. I believe in this team and believe that we came through this stronger than we started.”
